“We at Minion Games are excited to be collaborating with designer Scott Leibbrandt on releasing his second published game. Believe it or not, we discovered this game at a local game design meetup. I really felt good about SotN as I think it fits a nice niche of easy to play and short time commitment. Yet SotN introduces some more interesting game mechanics to people who might otherwise be turned off by war-games. In the game you draft region cards much like you do in Ticket To Ride which makes for simple game-play. A certain amount of luck in the game helps equalize the playing field to allow everyone to enjoy the game and have a chance to be victorious. I’ve seen gray-haired wargamers love this game and I’ve seen young players pick it up quickly.”

Designed for 2-4 Players, Ages 13+, and 30-40 minute game play. With a play-style reminiscent of Ticket to Ride, Saga of the Northmen is a simple to learn and easy to play intro to area control and war-gaming for young and old.
