The expansions Space Cadets: Dice Duel – Die Fighter, Core Worlds: Revolution and Space Cadets: Resistance Is Mostly Futile bolster some of the existing core IPs of Stronghold Games, and shows Stronghold Games’ commitment to supporting these IPs fully into the future.
Through its newly announced strategic partnership with Artipia Games, this lineup also firmly establishes a new core IP for Stronghold with Among The Stars and its first two expansions all releasing this year, Among The Stars: The Ambassadors and Among The Stars: Expanding The Alliance.
Diamonds, a trick-taking card game by the master of card games, Mike Fitzgerald, establishes a new box size and game line, The Pocket Line, for Stronghold Games.
Panamax and Kanban: Automotive Revolution, two new heavy Eurogames, show the growing breadth of the Stronghold Games’ catalog, as Stronghold continues to bring great games from Europe to North America and the rest of the world.
Medina, a reprint of the 2001 game, will feature almost 200 wooden pieces, a double-sided board to allow for 2 to 4 players, and new never-released components and upgraded gameplay for this classic game.
At Gen Con, August 13-17, 2014, Stronghold Games has promised to have 4 of its new games available for demo and sale: Among The Stars, Diamonds, Space Cadets: Dice Duel – Die Fighter, and Panamax. Each of these games will be in extremely limited supply, so gamers should purchase early to avoid disappointment.
Stronghold Games also indicates that some surprise games and/or surprise announcements will be in store for Gen Con. No further disclosure of what these surprises will be was made available by press time.
“This great lineup of games underscores the philosophy adopted by Stronghold Games last year”, said Stephen Buonocore, President of Stronghold Games. “We continue to bring to North America great releases from Europe, as well as support our existing game lines. And with our pipeline of games, there will be many great things in store for gamers in 2015!”
