Bedtime Stories: The Fir tree

I love reading to my kids. I know some parents do not have the time to read to their children, or have problems reading. So I am offering bedtime stories, all for free.

This story is The Fir-Tree from
THE PINK FAIRY BOOK Edited by Andrew Lang

The story is about a Fir-Tree that pines (get it? pines…never mind) away its youth wishing for something better, only to realize that in the end its youth was the happiest time of its life.

This fairy tale is Rated G. It has a moral about wasting your youth, and is kind of depressing but maybe a good moral for the kiddies (who wont care cause they are kiddies, so by the time you are old enough to understand the moral it is too late to do anything about it).
