This Story is called The Forger. Someone has been forging and cashing checks. The bank thinks it is an inside job, and the two main suspects have disappeared. Kennedy discovers that the man is in disguise and plans to escape to South America on the next boat. However the only picture of the disguised man is in Chicago. The boat leaves in a few hours, can Kennedy discover the man’s identity and capture him before he can make good his escape?

They all join him on his journey. They meet up with some robbers in a house, and decide they want the house for themselves. Can they drive out the robbers and become street musicians?

Reeve (October 15, 1880 – August 9, 1936). Reeve was an American mystery writer who created 82 Craig Kennedy mystery stories. The stories have a very Sherlock Holmes type feel, In fact Kennedy has been referred to as the “American Sherlock Holmes”. Along with his reporter friend, Walter Jameson, Kennedy solves many crimes and unveils mysteries using science.

This book contains twelve of Professor Kennedy’s adventures. The interesting thing about these stories is Kennedy uses newly discovered science from his time period, which we take for granted today. The first story, The Silent Bullet, has everyone wondering how a bullet could kill someone with no noise. Today, silencers on guns are commonplace in movies and on TV. Or as in “The Deadly Tube” featuring the story of a doctor causing his patients much harm with evil x-rays, or the developmnt of the gyroscope for aeroplanes in “The Terror in the Air”.

Each story features a facinating look at life in the early 20th century, and even includes some action along the way.

Arthur Benjamin Reeve (October 15, 1880 – August 9, 1936) was an American mystery writer. He is best known for creating the series character Professor Craig Kennedy, sometimes called “The American Sherlock Holmes,” and his Dr Watson-like sidekick Walter Jameson, a newspaper reporter, in eighteen detective novels. The bulk of Reeve’s fame is based on the 82 Craig Kennedy stories, published in Cosmopolitan magazine between 1910 and 1918. These were collected in book form; with the third collection, the short stories were stitched together into pseudo-novels. The 12-volume Craig Kennedy Stories came out in 1918; it reissued Reeve’s books-to-date as a matched set.

This Story is called The Steel Door. Detective O’Conner wants to shut down an elite illegal gambling hall, but the bad guys have a huge steel door that has stopped every police raid so far. Can Kennedy figure out a way to get past the door in time to catch the crooks in the act? Can he save a young gambler from throwing his life away?

I love reading to my kids. I know some parents do not have the time to read to their children, or have problems reading. So I am offering bedtime stories, all for free.

The Devil meets him on the road and offers him a purse that always has gold if he agrees to go without bathing for three years. This fairy tale is Rated PG-13 . The Queen and eldest daughter drown, almost as an afterthought. Plus the devil is in it.

Three brothers, of which Ciccu is the youngest. Dad dies, fairies visit and give gifts, Ciccu tricks brothers into giving him their gifts. He runs off, spends money unwisely, loses gifts, is nice to a stranger, gets job with the king. THe brothers retalliate andCiccu goes on hard quests. Eventually, he tricks king into killing himself, wins the fairest princess of all, and becomes king.

This fairy tale is Rated PG-13 . For trickery, death, woman beating and such. But they live happily ever after at least.

Can they overcome the treachery of the wicked stepmother? What happened to the other prince?
